Not many were clinching on the bps. Patient is the game; catch 3 and move, and keep on moving... Depth: 12'-24' Technique: Pitch free fall and twisted once at rest was what irritated them enough to strike. (Bites were very subtle to super light). If your gear isn't sensitive, you loose... Jig colors: Chart/light blue/chart Got my limit before the wind picked me off the lake...

Great job CV! We're you on Arlington? Nice mess of fish! Thanks guys... Yes, it was LA... Something interesting I'd like to share. Last year, one of my usual outing produced a black crappie (LA is not known to have black crappie). I posted the photo on TFF here, and unfortunately, one of our well known poster in here at the time called me a liar (well, not right out using the word "liar", but he insisted that the photo wasn't from LA). That was one of the reason why I don't normally post much in here. Too much friction and doesn't make me sleep better at night... heheheh Anyway to get back to the point, this past Summer, I caught my first stripped black crappie at LA (yes, I had a witness so please don't question my sincerity like one has done last year). Although it was only about 9" length, it was a blessing to see something beside the normal white specie..Could it be the beginning of something more to come several years down the road?

CV, I want to apologize for whoever did such a foolish thing as question your integrity! Please accept it and get back to posting your occasional report. Several years ago, it was your reports that helped me to direct my efforts in various directions, even though we usually (99% of the time) fish very different water. Then when you finally made it over to my home lake, it was like getting to fill the back seat in KVD's boat in a ditch pickle race! Please don't let the ignorance of a few push you away my friend!

CV I was out there too; but didn't run into you. I didn't go to "spot" though. I went hunting new stuff. Didn't have the luck you had; but I was mainly graphing. Good job as usual!
