Not saying that we all don't stand a chance, but I really feel that MusicLife has a leg up on us because of his flipping. I know he has way more experience than me so I'm looking forward to see how big of bass we can pull out of there. I don't care who catches, I want to see a 6+ come out of there. I've some some really big bass but wasn't able to catch them.

Experience is always beneficial. However...with the fish that concentrated...everyone should be able to score some nice fish...if anyone would like some advice on flippin techniques please let me know...I'm more then willing to help. It takes practice. I will tell you this...I flip for at least 2hrs a week at home. I flip into coffee cans, 5gal buckets, my swimming pool, the front yard, tree bases....name it...

I was thinking if anything I could learn that technique by watching Monday. I looked up flipping and understand the reel settings but practice is what I really need to do.

It's all about putting your bait in the exact spot you want to put it....you would be surprised where you pitch/flip for bass sometimes.

I know they can be in some really shallow areas. Placement is key even in casting. I know we can all relate to that perfect bait placement, where you just know there's one in there!

oh yeah....absolutely...nothing like putting your bait in some random, tiny lil hole knowing that you will have to yank the bass out of it bites!!!! That's the best part...it's almost as good as top water fishin!

In my experience with this creek, accuracy is a huge plus. I can't tell you how many bass I've caught because I was able to put my lure 2 inches from a laydown, or the edge of the bank.

Bank....hows the water clarity? I'm sure it will change with rain but in general?

If there is no current the water can be clear, like 5+ feet clear. I'm going to try and get down there by tomorrow to check on it though. If it rains, the water will be stained from the all soil/sediment being moved. I've seen it look so thick there's only 3-4 inches of clarity, but that is only after heavy downpours. It its a steady rain or even a brief heavier rain, you will still have a foot or two clarity.
I'm hoping for a steady rain and not a heavy rain. This will get the water flowing but not dirty it up too much. I'll report back after I take a look at the creek.

Lol... With the way those perch were taking off with my fluke Thursday, minnows on a hook wouldn't stand a chance.

I was able to get out for a little bit today and hit the creek. The recent rains have the water murky. Some areas have several feet visibility down while others only about a foot. The bass were not as aggressive as I was hoping add I only caught one bass that was right at 1.5 pounds. If it rains tomorrow, it should help. I did see lots of perch and minnows. I'm hoping that we do better than last week. I think that finding the right color is going to be key tomorrow. I look forward to seeing what happens tomorrow. I like fishing this creek and I hope you all enjoy it as much add I do.

Thanks for the report Kris. Havent been there in a couple months, but we should be ok. Is there a clear path from the crossover between the ponds and where they will weigh?

Walked around there at halftime, looks awesome. A little rain and current would be great though.
