The Texas High School Bass Association (west division) has a Oct 25th tournament at High Port Marina on Lake Texoma. We need some volunteers for launch time (5am) and weight-in (3pm). We went from 8 High Schools to around 36 schools in less than a year. We are exploding at the seams with kids experiencing and learning bass fishing. You could still get in some good fishing between launch and weigh-in or help in the am or pm time slot. If you could help please email me at kerrycopytek@sbcglobal.net

Thanks Silverskeeter by the way we are sponsored by Skeeter Boats this year our web address is
www.texashighschoolbassassn.com
Come on out usually Fun & Sun has a new boat there you may just want to look at them. They have the new under the deck fan system so as to dry your boat out.
I will email you the spots that need filled.
Thanks
Kerry

Here is the list of the spots we need filled. You will need a Texoma License, no charge for parking at High Port Marina. I think the boat launch is $5.00 is all. Pick out what you think you would like to do. Their will be about 70 to 75 teams (boats) that will be in this one.

What is your phone number? I look forward to talking and meeting with you. Our associations website is http://www.texashighschoolbassassn.com/

Let me know Cowboysfan if you can help.
Thanks

Kerry Anderson

As we now look to lake texoma for our next tournament in the west Allen High School And Prosper High School have been assigned the host school duties.

Here is a list of duties that we will Volunteers for during the course of the Day.

1. Recording the teams total weight... and big bass weight on the big dry erase scoreboards (3 needed)
2. Checking in the teams as they come off the water (2 needed)
3. Fish Runners (4 needed)
4. Bump man (person who measures the fish) (1 needed)
5. Weigh-in person (person who weighs the fish on the scales) Same person performing the bump man duties )
6. MC (I needed)
7. Set Up (help with setting up the weigh-in trailer and team banners) This usually takes7-8 people. but the more the merrier!
8. Morning Registration (5 needed). This is the hardest to get volunteers for because it takes place so early in the morning.

9. Boat Safety Check (6 needed)

!0 Parking ( 4-5 Needed) we have a ton of cones to block off what we need to help with the parking.

11. Recording keeping ( 4 total )1 on the Card box and 1 for writing weights and penalty's and the other 2 at having anglers sign weigh slips and move info to computers and weight boards

Tear Down at end of day is all hands on deck.

Fishfinder, I don't know if I'm going to boat captain or not. But my wife and I will be there. She did the dry erase board to confirm the weights at Joe Pool and I was the utility person. Leigh and Ed gave me jobs and I took care of them.
