Ripped them yesterday with two customers on suspending jerks around bushes 10 to 15 ft. Had 89 by 1:00 most were 2 to 3 1/2 but we had a triple of 5's with about 10 others following the wolf packs are back.

If the phone doesn't ring, it's me. I'm still fishin!

I took fellow TFF'R David out for a trip on Amistad and while are numbers were not as high as usual the quality of the fish made the trip a success! Our best 5 produced a 32lb stringer. here are the pics.

Thanks D, When you decide to come back we will spend some time in that area, however there are some places that are just as good if not better.

won't take a jig, crank, topwater, or worm at all, but i heard miller lite works good!! you have to use corona when you fish the mexican side.

Nice fish RMS007, I believe I would have to throw something other than miller light though, I want my fish to have access to as much calories as possible. J/k Great looking fish congrats!

amistad man, i am jealous, wish i could find a way to make enough $$ to live down there full time. made 15 trips out there this year, have a place in box canyon, actually caught that bass 100 yards from the box canyon boat ramp.

amistad man, what kind of rig are you running?

mine is white hewes flats boat with a poling tower, i stick out like a sore thumb, but it's definately the best all round fishing boat i have ever owned, stop and say howdy if you see me out there, i fish around box canyon or up the rio most of the time, but occaisonally go up the devils to go after smallies, or san pedro for the striper.

Nice fish Amistad Man! I'm sure I'll be hearing about the trip from David at our next club meeting.
