Lost native manta ray kayak, floated downriver from the launch on lake Dunlap in New Braunfels on Saturday, October 4th. It is a 14 foot beige kayak. Any information is greatly appreciated or if anyone can give me a better place to post this, i have put it on facebook and craigslist. Please contact me at hancehaeuser@gmail.com if you can help me out.

A lot of the bluegill guys fish Dunlap. I would post it there also. I'll share it on Facebook. I know lots of Austin folks that fish there.

If I found an empty Kayak you bet Id report it...
First question I would have is, what happened to the rider?

The kayak was placed on a dock during a wedding, and the only thing i can think of is that some of the children knocked it into the water and didn't say anything. Someone reported the kayak as it was floating down the river and i happened to report it fast enough so that river rescue was not needed, but the kayak was reported floating a mile upstream of where it would have been knocked in...I appreciate all the help anyone can give, and thank you so far for the responses.

Makes one think if you should place some ID and contact info on/in the yak including emergency contact. Might even help with a SAR event.
