 What hooks for jigging

What style hook do you use for jigging with an assist hook? Octopus, circle, live bait hook etc. this will be for tuna and aj mostly.

Short shank bait hooks work well just make sure they are rated 4X or better & Black Nickel finish. Ebay has lots of listings.

4x strong live bait hook
Gamakatsu 6/0 to 10/0 is a good choice, but many of the vertical jigs you buy will come "rigged", so that'll give you a good idea as well as save you a little $$ in the beginning
