FISH ....  and ....chips   to start this episode I must first say this I got a tip from a lizard to use something green with a long tail  KABOOM

let me guess you used a go-to-greenie lol actually used a color called the "Skinner" in a Stinger tail version of a Thermocline soft plastic and it was ...... FISH ...  and ...chips ....  over and over ,,,, let be clear on one thing though ... the presentation was EXTREMELY specific and the bite was NOT noticeable at all I saw maybe 4 hits out of 25 or 30 fish some swallowed the bait terribly deep and then would just sit with it   about 6 foot under the float a 1/32 oz green ball head with the stinger bait trust me I offered a lot more ideas to them they just wanted THAT set up and it for sure without any doubt HAD to have a crappie nibble on it I tried over and over to get bit without it .... NO DICE ! and in the end what did it all mean ? FISH ...  and ... chips .... KABOOM

BTW ....did I mention the "FALL SPAWN" seems to be about in full swing as well ...   and or how much I DONT like cormorants !   only managed 2 black crappie out of the bunch .... one was fish size ... one was chip size ...  the only thing other than a crappie to make an appearance was a green sunfish and I don't think I ever seen this before I made a cast in the wind and got me a birdnest !!! as I sat on the bank trying to unravel the mess my jig laid at my feet in the water on the bottom fixed the mess picked up the jig and what the heck ? my full auto ketchn switch was on and I didn't even know it ....  and as always ... KABOOM

I didn't even know it was 6ft deep there...???!!!!??? best I can tell there is some water that goes maybe as deep as 12 in that area over at panther pavilion there is a hole that is about twice as deep btw
