We went to the Little Rock for Thanksgiving and took the Lund. Went exploring on the Arkansas river and we went from Murray Lock near North Little Rock up river to Toad Suck Lock and dam. We had great luck on TnT Holo and Chart and Blue and White slabs and green Humdingers. We mainly were hitting striper in the tailout flow from the TS dam but we also caught Saugeye (like a walleye), LMB and a 7 + LB Drum on the first cast of the day. smile
My son caught a couple stripers all by himself for his 7th birthday.
Wish we could have stayed there longer. We were about 28 miles up river so we had to leave em biting quite before dark as it was an hour ride back to ramp. We only fished for three hours or so and hated to leave.

We seemed to catch alot and everyone else we talked to said they hadn't caught anything. They were using crank baits and plastics. Should have been using slabs and dingers. smile

PERFECT weather and day!
Will post pics tomorrow.

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
