We clocked 75 mph straight line winds here in the Love Field area, Trees down everywhere(limbs anyway), and my hot pepper plants are still droopy and I HAD TO WATER THEM RIGHT AFTER THE STORM BLEW THROUGH. It seemed like a biblical deluge, but it was the force of the wind that made it APPEAR to be more than it turned out to be.
all gone now except for the cleanup. Didn't do much for water levels around here.

Hopefully some of that rain will make it down to south Texas and the hill country!

Here in Burleson we got some high winds and it poured for about 15 minutes and that was it. We sure need more.

Power out here in Waco .. Been out for 30
Minutes plus .. High winds came through hailed
Etc . Now steady rain ..
Don't believe everything you hear and half of what you see . Living for the Thump !!

Coppell Tx....we got maybe 25 mph wind and rain all in about 5 min then sunshine and much less humidity. Should be pretty in the morning. Coulda, woulda prefered much much more rain though....

High winds and heavy rain in Arlington. Downed trees and power lines all over
town. Power has been out almost three hours and counting.

We had some severe winds, Belinda & I barely got the RV awning rolled up in time. Only 1/2" of rain, then the skies cleared. Power was out for a couple of hours. Made good use of the time playing spades

It looked good from here. The sun shinning on the clouds made for some fantastic colors. No rain for us just dirt!

Barley got a drop at my house.  As for the rest of the area hardly any!  Seven day forecast does not look good for any rain!  The only good note is cooler temperatures.
