do you back up your waypoints on a card? If so, do you back them up on your map card, or a blank card?

use a blank card. If you write to your navionics card, you can ruin it. I then upload them into the PC and print a hard copy, just in case something happens and I loose the digitial ones.

Ok, I'll bite. How can you ruin your Navonics by writing to the non-protected empty space. According to the Navonics instructions, this is an allowable thing to do. If it was dangerous to the Map data, why would they tell you in the instruction sheet that saving to it is OK?
Oh ya...I backup to navonics card frequently then a buddy that does the same and I swap cards and upload each others WPs and Icons...then I download them to the Navonics card again. It is a great way to swap information with a friend.

So when you say you print them out, do you print them out on an 8" x 11" sheet?
I don't know squat about them, never used them, but curious about them.
Do you just upload the data to the PC and it saves the info there? Can you manipulate any of the data on the PC?
Sounds pretty cool, and something you definately would want to back up, if I understand it right.
