Anyone know if the shad have rebounded on Texoma? Are minnows still effective? Or is live bait even necessary? Head ed up this week. I'll post a report and hopefully as short gopro video

Thread Fin are coming back Nicely and the smaller gizzard shad have been back for sometime! The large gizzards were never affected! I would say the Shad issue is behind us for now but winter in still coming! No need for live bait Top waters, casting cohoes/sassy shads, slabs, hair jigs, crank baits are working well!

Tim,
Does the artificial work later in the afternoon? Seems like the last 4 times I've gone up, that was the only time of day that I could fit it in, and I got skunked all 4.

Been working all day most days. Just get up shallow and look for a little activity if you do not have side scan and start casting no bites keep moving. Just about any windy point right now will get you bit!

We was up there last Wednesday and caught several box size stripers by the islands cut late in the evening in 3 ft of water with ghost minnows. No overs.
