are there still tilapia in this lake? Heard a rumour that there are few in there now.

last winter i seen alot of floaters and this past year i noticed a lot more algae on the riprap. So I am goin to assume that the tilapia lost to the cold water, far as I know the redfish made it fine.

I hate to hear that... I wonder if they quit producing power & releasing warm water into the lake?

Yes they have only been generating a few times each year when the demand during cold spells was high. So its not really a power plant lake anymore. It fishes like a normal lake now. Lots more vegetation in the lake now.

So I guess Fairfield is the next closest place to DFW to catch tilapia. Thanks for the info.
