I'm not familiar with Cedar Creek but looking at the TPW site it looks like they have a few private owned facilities with picnic areas, restrooms and fish cleaning stations and a considerable amount of trailer parking. Looks like most charge a $5 fee for the boat ramp which ain't bad. Maybe someone local could visit with the owners of one of these places about our get together, hint, hint.

If we could get some rain, then a GTG wouldn't be bad here at Cedar Creek... The only place right now that could handle that kind of picnic would be Log Cabin, (no beer)...
We have a POA place but not enough water..
That's the problem with Cedar Creek.... (no water)...................

Not opposed to making it a tradition at Palestine. Especially since I live there. Still has plenty of water and a crappie or two left.

Using the site for a while...this is really great to share fishing ideas and success with others.
