Wish I could make it. After the SIT last weekend I think I might have a pretty good shot. In 2 days of fishing, I eliminated enough water that was not holding fish, so I figure I know some good spots now. lol

Will try.. Looks to be a fun tournament.
After Sun Country Championship this week.. I also eliminated a lot of water. Had a decent pattern going while pre fishing. Only to lose it the first two days of the tournament ... But had a better trip out the last day...
Some of the toughs who did not weigh a fish in the SIT got it figured out in time for our championship,
With that said .. Any time you give J.J. and Carr-----then Huckaby and Harrelson enough time on Amistad.. they WILL figure it out. even in these tough times.

I'd like to fish this but I can't find much info. Can you fish Friday? Is it a team tournament? 3 or 5 fish limit? Where can I get more info? I went to the website, but I can only find the registration.

Friday is prefish and Saturday is the tourney.. It is team and I believe they are doing 5 fish! Get out there, Amistad is fishing in a way that really levels the playing field!!

Can pre-fish any time. Tourney is Sat. Weigh-in at Two Guys from 3pm till 430 must be in line for cut off. Meeting will be Friday at 6pm. It is 5 fish limit trailering permitted. Per Binky no launching at the Pecos High bridge. If you can access the Pecos from the main lake (Rio Grande)it is allowed. Should be a decent turn out and good time.
