Since you use an inflatable boat, what are the best areas on the lake to avoid poppage.

Finally, tackle packed and car ready to go. Dunno if I want to fish by the bridge or by the west bank boat ramp. We will see soon.

One of these days, the fish I catch from this lake will be a keeper. The shad lived because I was trying to go through my worms and wasn't cutting the shad from my cast net into slabs.

Also the catfish is 10 inches, the camera was at a bad angle, still 2 inches shy of a keeper.

I passed by Flag Pole Hill late Thursday morning, and there were about 6 cars parked in "The Bend" parking lot by the bridge. I seriously doubt anything of note is going on but this weather has been so spectacular that it's hard to fight the urge. But the time is coming as the fall arrives and moves to winter.

Could be well worth the wait.

Rudy
