Video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oFtc3oDjoI&feature=youtu.beVideo

First thing I did when I woke up this morning was give Crappiegetter a call, but he was getting his much needed beauty sleep.
So I headed out on my own and the bite was on first thing this morning.
Pulled right up to the first pile and caught 5 fish as soon as I raised the jig off the bottom on the first 5 dips.
Then my phone rings and it's Crappiegetter.
He is at the boat ramp in just a matter of minutes and we headed out.
The bite slowed very quickly but we did manage to get 38 in the boat and he kept 12.
But what I did notice was juglines all over the place over by airport park and 95% of them were standing straight up and bobbing away.
And sure enough, one of them kitties lit into my jig in the middle of a pile and the fight was on.
I tell ya, after that struggle and seeing how both my ProAngler rod and BoneHead braid held up, I wouldn't trade either for anything.

nice Texboxer, very nice.
True about the pro angler rods. I got a blue about 3/4 that size on a 10' pro angler. no problem. But I was sure wondering with it being all bent double!

I was more worried about the micro reel.
It was singing.
It also held up though.
I seriously do love my 10' Pro Angler.
And the BoneHead braid took a beating in the limbs but didn't fail me.
I have to say, that is the biggest blue I've caught.
Never really fished for them.
Lots of fun though.

CG used a hand tide Texas toast,
Most of mine were caught on a hand tide blue/fire tiger/white
Water temp 80
Piles were in 11', 13', 16'
The pile in 16' produced the most and biggest
Tried one pile in 25' but no one was home
Again they hit in all depths from the bottom to just below the surface
The hits were violent to a single tap our just heaviness.
The one tappers were sure frustrating today.
