Headed to Ray Bob this weekend. Just curious what the conditions are like. Hadn't been up there since the spring. Water temp etc. Any information you are willing to give would be helpful.

thanks

Didnt bass fish tonight but the sand bass where hit and miss. Lot of bait shallow. Still lot of fish on deep structure. Could be crappie or just bait. I would definitely start in some grass early with top water. Then move a little deeper as sun comes up. Good luck would like to hear how it goes. Water very clear water temp 77 83 depends on time of day.

Went last Sunday. Couldn't get any action on top water in the grass at early morning. Did get a few off of soft plastics in the grass, but LMB were slow. Moved out to a point and creek channel in one of the main arms and tore the sand bass up. Caught 6 doubles in a row on a A-rig plus many singles. I think I saw the largest and most active schooling I have seen. It was wild while that lasted.

I was out there yesterday. Caught fish on lipless, senko, chatterait and t-rig creature bait. Nothing of much size. Biggest was around 4#. All were caught on grass edge except for a few flipped off timber near said grass.

caught a couple small ones Sunday evening in the cove just south of Jordan Park, south bank where the trees start and worked down that bank, all on shakey head with watermelon senko orange tail (dipped), slow for sure.

I am not making any decisions until the bourbon kicks in!

Thanks for all of the feedback. Planning on Launching at Isle Du Bois. Probably just see where the day takes us from there. I will let you know what we get into.

I have only fished the lake a handful of times. I usually fish out at Eagle Mountain. Heard all the ramps but lake country are closed out there though.

Blue and White Basscat Pantera IV. Holler at me if you see me out there. Will be with my dad.

thanks again.

Fished until about 3:00 on Saturday. Was a absolutely beautiful morning. Unfortunately the view was the high point of the day haa.

Caught 6-8 small blacks and spots. Had one black maybe 1.5-2 was the biggest. Caught most everything on mainlake points up shallow. They were chasing bait. Couldn't get anything else going. Was a great day on the water though. Would catch a sandie everynow and then to keep things interesting.

Won't be back this coming weekend but will probably be there Saturday and Sunday next weekend.

If anyone figured them out let me know!

Thanks

The topwater bite was on fire for me this morning but when the sun got up, it turned off like a light switch. I was using a Yellow Magic and fishing it shallow in a fast in a walk the dog style. I switched to two different Spooks but didn't get another bite. Nothing else seemed to work so I left before noon. I caught one sandbass on the YM but I didn't see any others schooling/feeding where I was.
