Going to fish it for the first time.Needing help what to use,water deep,clarity,is there brush pile,grasses etc.Any help would be great.Thanks dlineman1

Glad you had fun. That is the most important thing.
I fished the tournament yesterday. What I most heard about were all of the 13", fat, football shaped fished. Strong little beasts. I caught 12 or 13 fish but only two were keepers.
My bite died as soon as the rain started.

Do Y'all use the I-35 ramp? have a kayak, so i was wondering if there was a shorter route or and easier access point that anyone would possibly know of

I usually use Schumans Beach. $5 to park but there is a restroom and it's quiet.

Keep an eagle eye out for the many stumps in mid lake. Most are right at the water line.

Go 3 mi south on fm725 to schuman's beach rd, left turn and drive til you see the launch. This is on the west side of the lake.
