LMAO most certainly not....but I do like having it as a tool for information....

Don't need one to tell me when to go fishing, but I do need one to tell me when to go catching...lol

Maybe you will get some reports from some guys that were on the water today. I would like to know if the APP's were helpful and correct.

It was a beautiful day on the lake. Nice weather for fishing! Got on Texoma at daylight and fished til about 1:00. Couldn't buy a topwater bite...only had one swirl at the smallest sammy I own. Didn't mark shad like I did a few weeks ago either. Caught the Texoma slam...1 LMB,6 SMB,2 sandies and a hybrid. Everything was caught on a 1.5 squarebill in sexy shad. Tried several other lures/techniques and that's all they seemed to want. Great day for fishing...I'm not complaining!

I don't need an app to tell me when to fish, I have a wife for that.

We fished Lake Kiowa from 8am - 2:30pm.... By far we caught more fish from 12:45 - 2:00pm... It was a steady bite, like someone turned on the Buffet is open light...
The rest of the day my partner could have been the catfish king or sandbass king...

I was thinking about fishing Thursday but decided to hit the water today instead after reading this thread. On the water a little after 2:00 pm, at Palestine. Spoke to a couple of guys just coming off the water at the Flat Creek ramp that said it was slow. I fished the bridge and timber nearby for a couple of hours without a bite before heading shallow and the docks.

I'm not fond of fishing docks but figured it couldn't be any worse and I could use the practice. Around 4:30 I hook first fish. I'm so close to dock trying to throw as far under as possible that I immediately get banged off the wood pilings when spinnerbait gets slammed in 2 1/2 feet of water. I'm kind of surprised. Spend another 15 minutes working all the way around from ever angle...nothing.



Paddle to the next dock and hit the mother load. All small, 12 to 15 inches, but pull 11 more from under and around it over the next half hour and jump a couple more that came off. All on spinnerbait. After the first 5 or 6 I switched over to senko hoping to catch something bigger, not a tap. Back to spinnerbait and back to catching. Slow retrieve, just ticking bottom in 3 to 3 1/2 feet of water.

Fished several more docks and nothing, back tracked heading back in, nothing. Fun day...may have to fish more of the those docks.

What app is that? It has a lot more info than others I have seen.
