Prayers sent!!

Sorry to here for sure, prayers on the way to the child and family.

Been there too. Had my step-daughter at a Bass tournament weekend this last March. Found a lump in her neck, turned out to be cancer. We fought through it and beat it. She is already done with it. We were in Arkansas Childrens Hospital in Little Rock, AR. Great people there.
We got to fish at the Arkansas River there some while she did chemo. We had a great time in that period.

Prayers sent from here too, as I know what they are going through.

I know one thing that helped us is the people that helped with the little stuff, like mowing your yard or watering plants, pets, and those kinds of things. Gas cards are nice too, since they don't have to worry about where the gas money is coming from or having to deal with cash or credit cards. We got several gas cards from friends and family that were from WalMart or SAMS. Those turned out to be great because you could just stick them in the car and go. In his situation, sounds like he will be in the hospital for some time though.

Good luck and let him know we are thinking and praying for them.
Sad to hear that a kid has cancer, very sad.

Twenty five years ago this past Monday (a quarter of a century ago), my 12 year old son went to be with his Lord after being struck by a car on his way home from school. I still remember that day and it still hurts. It's not right and it's not fair, but it happens.

Anthony and his dad Paul on a trip with Rick Carter


Anthony is recovering well from the surgery to remove one of the tumors. Paul told me that his brain has them all over and they are trying to let him heal a little before going forward with the radiation. Apparently they had to make a large hole in his skull.

Thank you for all the prayers... Anthony has a long road ahead of him and your prayers go a long way. Paul has him on some glyco-nutrients and he says the overall energy and appetite has greatly improved. Getting his strength back up will go a long way in being able to handle the radiation.

Good lucking Bass in that picture. Some good news there. Sounds promising.
