Crazy quiet! It was nice being the only boat on the water after tournament hours.

I read Horror stories about this tournament from previous years. Glad I fished it, even though I didn't cash a check (or catch many fish for that matter). It was cool to see that many people on that small of a lake with no witnessed 'drama'. Other than a few rules issues that Bob mentioned today in the wrap up - Rules, Rules, Rules (and the law). I was able to pretty much fish where I wanted (which means I was in the WRONG PLACES at the WRONG TIMES). Congrats to all the winners, and good job everyone that finished 'in the money'! I am going to have to figure this lake out a little better for my own consistency sake before the Berkley Tournament.

Oh, and Paul From Garrett Creek... Nice chatting with you at the Car-Wash!

No pictures, but what a great tournament. # days of fishing and not one incident around me. Finally caught a fish and weighed in but no check. I heard it was either real good or real bad. Some locals caught zero fish and I know of one group fishing in the same spot where only 1 of the four caught fish and the other got nothing. Same hole, same bait.
Now for a little humor:
I fished the very first one of these tournaments 40 years ago.
Not one of them since,,,,so.....
I fished this tournament so I could find some new spots to fish on FORK. I have my places that I go, but I thought I could "see" where others fished during a tournament............right !!!! Every point, every cove, every creek channel & every bridge had at least 10 boats fishing it. Based on where the boats were you could fish anywhere on Fork and be in a fishing hole.
I have never seen so many people fishing a lake in all my life.
Look forward to doing it again next year.

I was out there Thursday-Sunday. Not one problem with other boats. Anytime someone started getting close they'd ask to go around and were very polite, heck we'd talk fishing for a few then move on. Talked with quite a few guys on the water and everyone was very respectful to each other. We launched at Oak ridge each day and loading/unloading went very smooth. Saturday was our best day of fishing. We got into some big slots and I managed a 2.28 under that won some money. I'll be back again next year.

Had a great time. We fished Friday and Sat. The lines at the public ramps went very quickly and everyone was very courteous. The main lake was packed but you could still get off of the beaten path and find a few. We caught several good slot fish but our unders were not of any quality. The lines at check in were long so I would suggest to anyone next year to pre-register. I never witnessed one time of anyone driving reckless or anyone being an A-hole. Fun times

Also we stayed at the Lake Fork Lodge, it also was very nice and everyone that stayed there was fun to hang out with. If the lake was up a little it would be worth it to stay there just for the use of the private boat ramp for tournaments like this.

I caught a 2.17 Saturday in the last 20 minutes of the tournament good for $500.00; went to pick up check Sunday after the tournament and the check was for $600.00. The fisherman with a 2.40 went to take a polygraph and apparently got DQ.

With the exception of the ridiculously, asinine, unreasonably long check in line, this was a great tournament.
It was amazing how friendly and courteous everyone was with that many boats on the lake.
There was no wind on Saturday morning but we drove thru 3' rollers LoL
Next year is definatly preregistration.
Congratulations to all the winners.

No crazy pics here, but want to comment on the tournament.
As others have said, I did not have any trouble the whole 3 days. I fished from birch creek to running creek and many places in between. Other than there being a larger number of boats on the water, it was just another weekend on Fork.
I launched very early every day to get to the spot I wanted to fish and truthfully I could have waited another hour or so because it was that long before I had any boats close.
I was fortunate enough to take home a check for $600 on Day2 12-1 hour 5th place with a 2.08 fish.
I caught 5 fish all 3 days and 3 were nice slots, 1 small under and the 2.08#.

I enjoyed the weekend, Wanted to thank the guy's at the Val's landing boat ramp, they helped out a ton. I launched at Rainswood Friday, spent more money on gas to re-fuel the truck then it cost to launch at Val's. Caught fish all weekend but could not get the right size. Saw several weigh fish caught just could not get the size I needed, that's fishing. Trap bite is getting good just FYI

Great weekend on the lake. Everyone we came across was friendly and courteous. Only negative I heard was from some guys the wardens pulled aside in front of me in the weigh line. Seems like there were lots of guys trying to way slot fish. I was lucky enough to catch a 2.22 about 7 Friday morning that ended up getting me a third place check. Caught lots of nice slots. Bite seemed to really slow down after about 9 each morning. One of the better McD's tourneys I've fished.
