Does anyone know where I can buy live minnows around the Richardson/Plano area?
Thanks!

I don't know any places in town. The closest place I know might be Parker Rd. and FM 1378 in Wylie at the Lakeway convienence store next to the BBQ place.
You could just go to a pet store and buy some feeder gold fish for like .20 cents each or so.

Closest place that I know of is Carrollton off of Sandy Lake Rd. just over the bridge.
Or you could go to Lavon.
And there is one place down by White Rock lake.

I'm new to crappie fishing, and wanted to start with minnows. I tried using a minnow trap today, but no luck. The shop by Sandy Lake seems to be closest to me (I take 35 into downtown to work). While we're on the subject, could somebody share some tips for catching crappie? I've read the crappie section of the forum, but most of it is people posting about their catches....
Any help is much appreciated!!!
