Hello everyone have anyone been to Bachman lake or white rock fishing for crappie yet??????

whats the boating regs there ? I heard one has some limited hp thing er something ?

Bachman lake has a 5-horsepower limit on boat motors; anglers may use electric trolling motors.

The Cleburne State Park Lake has speed restrictions on it. Years ago I had a lot of fun fishing it with my trolling motor. That's fast enough on small lakes if your thing is catching fish and not seeing how fast you can run up and down the lake in a high powered boat.

White Rock Lake has a 9.9-horsepower limit on boat motors.
Bachman Lake has a 5-horsepower limit on boat motors.

Caught 3 small crappie At Bachman last Thursday underneath and beside the Lemmon Avenue bridge nearest the Walgreens. Fished the levee along Denton Drive this afternoon, 5-5:30 PM (had to leave for work, where I am now), caught one crappie, no bass. All crappie I have caught so far have been on rooster tails because I was looking for largemouths! Gonna jig and bobber it tonight after 10 pm around the bridge supports on the Webb Chapel bridge, behind the Whataburger.
