Husband and wife Don and Cindy fished with me on Tuesday. It was an enjoyable day with light winds and balmy temperatures on a lake with very few fishermen. Caught a few on the west side of the lake. The fish were really moving. A school would swim under the boat and we would catch a couple before they moved on. I found that it was better to just stay put and wait for then to return. We had about 20 fish before the action stopped we and moved to the east side of the lake. The lake became dead calm and I told Don & Cindy that catching gets difficult under those conditions. The next hour proved that I do not know what I am talking about. We found an area where an occasional fish would break the surface. I looked at the graph an we were in a huge school of white bass. They completed their limit of 50 fish in about thirty minutes. We practiced catch and release for a while and called it a day. It has been quite some time since I have seen such a large school of fish and it was very refreshing to say the least. We cleaned fish for about an hour. Arrived home in Dallas about 4:30.

Great report Don. I like it when there's a few boats out there. Looking forward to head out there soon after work slows done.
