I hit a stump in the guide cut today just south of the Williams Creek pump house. It's about 8" deep in the middle of gap through the trees by where the white pvc with the orange top is. I was right on the cut according to my gps and the boatlanes chip. Bent prop and prop shaft.

Coordinates are N 32 50.066 W 95 35.827

Sabine site says lake is 5.31 low ( 397.69 ). There is lots of stuff that will start to show up where it has not been.

Long ride on the TM. Glad the wind wasn't blowing, it would only do 1 mph on high by the time I got back to the 154 ramp.

Pack.. This one is almost right in the middle of that section.

Dude you went from Williams to 154 and no one stopped to help you!!! Shame on the 20 or so folks who blazed right by you!

Lot of theories on straightening vs new prop shaft - good luck w that!

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Watch out in front of Chicken Ridge too... You need to be a little tight to the timber.

i brushed over one the other day. Boat slide right over it, I got lucky. I'm staying to the main boat lanes until the water comes back up. Sorry to mainly hear no one stopped to help. That pizzes me off.

Thanks,

Ken,

A stump in a boat lane and Lake Fork brings back a certain memory....I think we can lift the metor. lets jump in the water temp is only 55 degrees.

Why not!!! I can throw 400 pounds over the back, standing in 50 degree water in the mud...in my underwear!! LOL

Since it was pretty much flat calm I ran straight lines (lots through the timber and cutting points). Had conditions been worse I'd have followed the lanes and tried to flag somebody down. With all the boats out prefishing somebody in the places I was in wouldn't really stand out.
