I'm an 11 year old and I'm looking for a "HOTSPOT" map of Joe Pool. I'm putting this post up because I LOVE fishing and can't seem to catch a black bass over a foot. PLEASE HELP ME.

try academy or bass pro. are you fishin from a boat or the bank? i hear that the hydrilla is back and they are catchin some good fish around it

A.K., don't feel bad! Lot's of folks catch small bass out of Joe Pool, especially this time of year! As the weather cools the bigger fish will start coming back up shallow again.

Thanks guys for responding. I'm fishing in a boat with my dad. We went out tonight from 5:30-9:00. I caught 3 fish finesse worming the grass. My best night ever!!! . Even my seven year old caught one.

Your seven year old? Started out pretty young, that must be a world record!

Thats my boy!!..... ....He's really gotting into this lately guys.....He's out there with me every chance he gets and obsessed with reading all the reports on here..Maybe he can make a fisherman out of me yet ....He had me set him up with a log-in and an e-mail addy so he can post and receive replys. he obviously forgot to log me off on his last responce.....He's practicing up for the kids fish T on the 27th. What he so kindly left out of his Friday night report is that he outfished his old man 3-1. 2 of mine came off before I got them in the boat. I'm going with the excuse that I had 2 kids to focus on and could not concentrate on my own line...Right?

If you're referring to the BBFT on CC, I haven't fished but one of those events.

I am planning a morning on Joe Pool around 6 AM. We're putting in at Loyd, but will probably start over by the pipeline cove at Lynn Creek Park. I think you know what my Astro looks like? If you guys are out in the morning and see us, stop by and say hello!

Not to highjack, but if anyone doesn't mind an extra hand on pool who wants to learn a bit since I'm FINALLY closing on my house either tommorrow or wed. morning and it's all of 5 minutes from Lynn Creek Marina, I would definately appreciate it, I want to learn that lake..
