What do you guys like to fish in the shallow trees on Ray Roberts? I threw quite a few different things yesterday and didn't have much luck until right before we left. I tried a weightless fluke in watermelon seed and white. I threw a squarebill for a while. I tried a shakey head and a jig too. Top fish was on a shad colored square bill. The second fish came on a white buzzbait.

Good job. Now you know what will catch one. Just cover lots of water with the same cover until you find one.

On Ray Rob look for Cypress trees....swim a jig or throw drop shot....give another month and the squarebills will start racking in fish!
