October 17th 19th the Mariner Sails Kayak Fishing Club will be hosting a weekend of Bass on the Fly at the beautiful Lake Fork Marina.
This will be a joint venture between the MSKFC and "any" member of "any" fly fishing club in the State of Texas.
We will camp, fish, eat, kayak, and just have "tons" of fun. The idea is to create and "information sharing highway" between the fly fishing community and the kayak fishing community so that both can learn from one another. There will be no time schedules or agendas.
There will be the availability to learn how to:
 Cast a fly rod
 Tie flies
Fish from a kayak (both fly and conventional)
 Rig a kayak for fishing
Catch bigger and more big bass and bluegills on the fly
 Camp, rest, eat, and relax
You are not required to fly fish or kayak fish to attend this event. Everyone that is a qualified member (as stated above) is welcome. Bring your bass boats, jon boats, float tubes, waders, or your bank fishing shoes and come spend a fun filled weekend with us at Lake Fork.
Lake Fork Marina has tent sites, RV sites, and even a hotel so its convenient for everyone.

The MSKFC meeting will be on October 14th at 6:30 PM at Mariner Sails.
Russell Husted (President of the Texas Council IFFF), Ken Morrow (President of the Adaptive Fly Fishing Institute), and Jeff Jackson (TFO Fly Rods) will be our guest speakers. We will discuss the final details of the GTG at the meeting also.
