We fished in the light rain yesterday from 1 until dark. Only had 3 fish in the boat.. 2 on deep diving crankbaits and one stroking a jig in 12-20ft. Reaction bites were all we could get. One here, one there sort of thing. Anywhere we graphed a large or decent amounts of fish, there was a TON of bait suspended around and even pushing up to the surface. They blacked out my screen on a few occasions and that's where we had the few bites. I haven't been out a whole lot lately and I'm sure others are doing better, but it was definitely enjoyable to be out there in the cooler weather. I also wouldn't be scared to go up shallow anytime of the year on Fork.. Especially on a cooling trend leading into fall. We just didn't have much time to do that yesterday. Good luck!
