Just wanted to brag on Dobyns rods for a quick second. I sent a 2 rods in for a more than simple tip repair, there was a little bit of a time delay (due to the holiday) but they were fixed and returned to me in a timely manner. I was so happy to get the rods in time for a trip to fork. Upon further inspection one of my rods was cracked in 4-5 places the other appeared fine. After a very short conversation with customer service we diagnosed the problem. Ups shipping had bent the PVC tube just slightly. The very nice lady at Dobyns told me that the intregity of the other rod, though it appeared undamaged was probably compromised. They very graciously offered to replace both rods and on top of that they allowed me to change from my broken 733c to a 736c. Also they sent the rods overnight and I should have them on Friday in time for fork. I just can't say enough about how professionally they have handled all of my interactions with them. I know first reaction is to say well ups will cover the price but it goes way beyond just replacing a rod or two. I feel that one of the most important things a business can do is provide a friendly and professional environment and cater to the customer, Dobyns rods has always done this for me and I'm sure they will do it for all. Thank you Gary for running such a top notch company.
