It is also a method of drying the hackle on a dry fly that has been sunk. (Not that I fish a lot of dry flies. ) Kirk

Anybody remember old Ten Cast from the days of old when we met to cast and cook burgers? He got his nickname from Jack at the very first txwwff yahoo group get together. Or maybe Barry. The two of them were watching him fish and it was ten false casts between presentations. I think that was in 2001 or 2002 it's been so long I can no longer remember where we camped and fished, but I remember the stone soup.
