That is a good one. I really like Tim Sutton's "The Crappie Book: Basics and Beyond". It is full of good useful info. Also his "The Crappie Fishing Handbook" is a great book too.

Did you get these books on Amazon.com?
Jesus said to them, "Children, do you have any fish?" They answered him, "No." He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. (John 21:5,6)

Bill Dance on crappie is more stories but a lot are interesting variations on how to catch crappie. Another good one seasonal structure by Tim Huffman

Crappie wisdom seems more like Yankee fishing to me. I learned a few things out of there but I think I like the in-fisherman crappie 1 and 2 better. They also seemed like Yankee books too, but every now and again you can find something worthy in there.

Texas Parks and Wildlife has a few studies on crappie. The study by Craig Bonds about crappie movements was really good.
