First week of October I'm going out to Pensacola to teach some classes at a hospital. My company is putting me up in Gulf Breeze. I'll be done by 2pm everyday. Gonna have a lot of down time to fish and I'd like to know where I should start.

I'll be bringing 2 surf rods, and my 8wt flyrod. I'd like to do some guided trips as well as on my own stuff.

Anybody got any outfitters they can suggest or where I could go on my own after work? Also open to suggestions on food! Fat boy gotta eat!

Thanks!

The piers around there have great fishing!! You should drive there and bring all your gear. Then bring the fish back! Check out:

Post a report when you get back! Don't forget the pics.

We rented a pontoon boat by the bridge back in August, across from Capt. Andersons Marina. We went out pass the pass and fish the shallow flats on the east side of Shell island. Great trout fishing. Just look for the shallow grass and sandy spots!

All fishermen are legends in their own minds! Ranger Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Humminbird Electronics,Motor guide, and all the tackle in the world.
