Research Walleye Boats and Aluminum Deep Vs and you will see they are actually moderately priced.
Lund is High. All new boats are overpriced really.
$80K Lund :

#1 Crestliner Intruder 22 - $29k -$38 k

You can say that again! I looked at the lund boats and decided to rebuild my pontoon and put a new motor on it!

Randy

I'm in good shape for the shape I'm in!

There's much better deals to be had on Xpress boats if you shop around.

We went the G3 route. Love it and it fishes multispecies very well. Did a lot of research on walleye central as well and the decision was to go with the G3 Angler V172F. Those walleye guys beat their boats up pretty hard on the Great Lakes. It had all the features we wanted. I.E. lockable rod storage, full windshield, am/fm radio, 2 live wells, all with a good reputation.
We added an extra seat,a Humminbird 899 and Ipilot trolling motor and was out the door around 27K with no money down.

You did well Forsanmedic! I got an old 91 19'6" Walleye boat now so I like the 19-22' and price jumps after 17-18' but I'm just Dreaming .....maybe in a few years. cheers

That yukon is nice, but for the price I would go with the crestliner. I've been looking for a boat with this setup but all seem to be around the 30 - 35k mark. I've also been considering an Alumaweld Stryker. Wide open behind the seats and you could add a big livewell for tournaments if you wanted. Also comes with a full enclosure which would be nice on those cold, windy days.

offtopic but curious about the humminbird 899, what's your opinion on it? I purchased one a few months back, and still learning it and have a long way to go. Lol. Also. Did you end up upgrading the transducer from the compact side scan to the hi def sides can that allows you to run your SI on 800khz. I found a used one for 70 bucks vs the 240 bucks for the new one, is it really worth upgrading? I've been told that it is. And also been told that it's not.
