The fish are hanging in the typical fall spots right now. Our club held a tournament on L. Conroe this past weekend and all the teams did well.
Most fish were caught in 12-18 feet of water near submerged structure. Some teams fished way up the lake near the Stubblefield bridge while others remained in the mid-lake area and fished bridge pillings or creek channel edges near main lake points and did well.
Our club follows ACA rules and we weigh in 7 fish.
The winner this month was Bobby Goforth, the 2005 CAST National Champion, with a weight of 10.36 pounds. Second, third and forth places were only seperated by .09 pounds weighing 9.37, 9.34 and 9.28 respectively.
Some pictures of the weigh in can be found on the club website gallery. I'd post them but, they haven't been resized and will goof up the forum so I'll just link to it.
