Posting here for more views Yesterday evening my brother who is a student at TSTC was fishing on the west side of the lake off of Classic Drive, while out fishing his Chevy Duramax had the Catalytic Converter hacked off. Just wanting other people to keep an eye out for your own stuff and others, and by a long shot if you saw anything post up here or Pm me. His truck was a 07' red Chevy 3500. Thanks

Where did he park. I know that the Flat Rock Park is known for stuff like that. I lost over a 1/2 tank of gas there the last time I went.

Doesn't ANYONE, Sherriff or Police patrol that area? Short of that, how about a Game Warden? Where did he park. I know that the Flat Rock Park is known for stuff like that. I lost over a 1/2 tank of gas there the last time I went.

Just North of Speegleville Park, its off of Speegleville Rd. Thats the free ramp at the back of speegleville. Your asking for your s#*t to get stolen if you use any of the free ramps on waco, I've heard flatrock is bad news, and I've had stuff stolen @ brazos park east ramp on the river. Have your buddy buy one of the $30 annual corp ramp passes if he fishes there alot and use any of the parks with a gatehouse... problem solved.

I mean 30 dollars isn't much for piece of mind, but it shouldn't be that way... Waco is a lake I would rather not fish to begin with... It is a tough one for sure. Then, you lump on the fact that the meth heads are stealing everything they can get their hands on, and I will just have to pass on that lake. Sorry about the loss from the theft. Next time, try some of the lakes in the Austin area! I cannot promise there won't be thieves there, but at least there is some better fishing...lol

In my opinion... These thieves are previous bass fisherman(on dope). Only they know the value of tackle. Normal thieves don't look in the bass community. Only bass crazy men pay 8 bucks for lure, sad that it's come to that and our lousy neighbor thieves will steal what $$$$$'they can

Not so sure about that, Joe. They took the catalytic converter, not fishing gear. I'm gonna set up a sting one day and catch some of these fools in the act. I'll even leave em hooked up to the vehicle they were planning on burglarizing and let the owner make an example of em.

I've used every ramp on the lake and never had a problem Even used the free speeglevillie ramp at night and still no problems and I fish the lake at least 50 times a year. I do no a friend of mine got his trailer tire stolen at koehne park which is a guarded ramp. What's a crime out there is the sorry fishing right now
