Got lucky and didn't have to work this weekend so The Boyers ( Terry and Ray ) invited me to fish with them and J.V. and we got around 30 fish before the batteries on the trolling motor died --LOL . It was windy and the fish were blowing shad up in the shallow parts of Robertsons which I have renamed Robertsons Island --LOL--. Had a blast with you guys. Good to see you J.V., Terry and Ray. Thanks for taking me out fishing . Great way to end the holiday and a great day of catching with my brand new fishing lic. --LOL--

Keith it was our honor to take ya fishing before the big run at work. If it was just dad and I going out this morning we would've probably canceled cause the winds!! I don't like fighting the wind even with the Ipilot !! However knowing how hard core of a fisherman you are there was no way we were gonna back out And on top of that Mr Jv was joining us for the morning fish Jv thank ya for going and letting me put you to work for us All until the trolling motor batteries died Sorry I would not let you and Keith talk me into beaching and wading the sandbars And sorry for not having the trails set on the gps ... No trail clutter I say on da graph All in all we had a great morn on Hubbard despite the winds and failing batteries!!

Mihn we launch out of Chandlers! They have a ramp guard there at all times to make sure you have a pass and or get the day pass .. Very protected in there!! The lake is getting lower and lower .. very sad to see! Lowest I've ever seen it. Rains need to come and come in a hurry..... Be very safe out there

Fishing trumps work every time... I hope this is not one of those see you in January posts! I know this is your busy work season. I just hope there's some fishing mixed in. I saw that wind and stayed in. Did the wind run the TM batteries down?

Good for you Keith....I won't be fishing until we get some rain and the lake comes up a foot or two. Looks like I'll be playing a lot of golf till then.

Chandlers Mihn. Thanks everyone i really got lucky with the whole weekend off. Also got lucky to fish Sunday with the Boyers and J V. . Frank I don't know why the batteries went dead but i am sure that Terry and Ray will figure out and it will be up and running full blast.
