Caught this old bass today while kayaking at the Fort Worth Nature Center. Maybe the alligators got a piece of him?

They lead a rough life one of the other ones I caught today had one dorsal fin missing.

I caught a bass on Toledo Bend a couple of years ago that had a bifurcated (split in half) lower lip. Each half of the lower lip moved independently of the other! Probably caused by a vigorous hook set when the fish was young.
