Just curious if anyone has been having any luck on Lake Belton, I haven't been out there in several weeks... Hope everyone has a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!

I was wondering also. Haven't been out but should have some free time to try it soon. Read the Texas fishing report and they said crappie bite was good, but I have little or no confidence in their report. COE is letting out water at a pretty good rate. Not sure how that will affect it.

Very slow since the water release. Had a couple decent days before water release. Lake now dropping about 1" a day. Not good. Last 2 trips maybe 15 fish all dinks. I'd try Waco for a mess of fish. Dinks there also, but you can get a decent count of fish to cull through.

Might be worth a shot! You just never know when they might be biting out there. I haven't done any night fishing on Belton so I don't really have anything to go off of...

I have been catching hybrids the last two months. The last time I went crappie fishing was in June and it was good then so I plan on going tonight to catch some fish to eat
