I've caught a bunch on the slow sink 6" bait. Nothing over 6 on it yet. And believe it or not, the Fork sand bass will smash it

Mike makes some GREAT swimbaits. Like mjmfc, I like the slow sinker for a lot of applications. The floater is a good summer and fall time bait, too. You can't go wrong on them. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Slim 285,
I have been using mostly 5 and 6" modes. I DO however, have 2 8" models to fish Fork, Falcon, Ivie, etc. with. I have had most of my luck on a 5" Bull Blueback Herring, I suppose, because it has a slimmer body. They all work, though. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
NEVER throw a floating bull shad to a bedded fish, never works, but some times you get slammed. OH, h and are friends, so I normally order direct, but he prefers to go through Tackle Warehouse or some other 3rd party dealer.

Hi Slim, Thad directed me to this post. The fast sink is the most versatile of the 3 ROF's. If you need to get a fast sink shallow all you have to do is raise your rod tip and increase your retrieve a little. If you need a fast sink deep just let it sink hard to get a slow sink deep unlike with a fast sink. Slow sink I like to use when it's shallow or your fishing shallow grass or any kind of shallow structure. This is just a rule of thumb on choosing rates of fall.. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions .
