10-4 on the daily bag limit. On the grassy's I cleaned one just to see what skeletal structure looked like. Very similar to a common carp. There's the rib cage, a row of very small bones in between the lateral line and the top of the back. And if my memory serves me correctly another small row of small bones after the rib cage on the lower part of the fish.

I was raised if I killed something I ate it, or at least used it for something. most of the carp I shoot are cut into cut bait for jug lines. I've eaten pigeon (taste just like dove), fox (stupid lean), wild hog (great), gar(great), carp(bleh).

Here are some Tilapia from Amistad in January. The one I'm holding weighed in at 5.7 lbs almost bigger than my biggest bass lol. They are great eating. I love grilling them because they maintain flavor, texture, and hold up pretty well. Also great blackened, fried, and baked.
