Has anyone fished the pond in Allen off Stacy road right behind Top Golf recently?

I was over there a few weeks back. I fished it for about an hour and didn't catch anything. I know there's some descent bass in there because my wife has caught a 3lb bass there. I haven't fished it much though. I've been meaning to get back over there. I can tell you there's not a lot of structure. I haven't fished it enough to know where they hand out and what works best. I can tell you that the end furthest away from top golf is deeper.

I really appreciate your answers to my posts. I don't know a ton about fishing like all yall on this site, but I go all the time to any small pond I can find. My two favorite spots in Richardson were either bulldozed or the homeless people ate all the fish this last year. I was at a loss this year to find somewhere else to go. I am covering the Allen area now to see what is up there. Lots of good little places.

You're welcome. Allen has a bunch of places to fish and I think is really one of the best city's to fish in. I live in Allen and I rarely leave because I can always find either lots of bass, or bigger bass.
We all need some help, and that's what we are here for. I'm glad that I can help.

I went up to the pond off Duck Creek the other evening. Yes, it is probably private but no signs at this point. Caught several small bass.
Went to Hoblitzelle and caught several there as well, but the turtles were just awful.
I know you stay in Allen mostly, but what about the body of water at Preston and Legacy? Went down there last week and sure seems like there would be bass. Lots of perch, but never caught a bass. Lots of great bank to fish from though. Am going to explore it more sometime.
Going to head up to the Alma/Legacy/Exchange area tonight maybe.

I've heard the ponds at Legacy and Preston have some good sized bass in there. I've never fished it but some people I know have and they did ok.
