I'm looking for a tandem and this one seems nice enough but there isn't a model or brand listed with the ad. Thanks

That's one of the KI kayaks. Ask them but I believe it may be an imported yak - not sure who makes it. I know they had an "angler" yak advertised once that several of us couldn't ID and Dave said they had it made and imported for them....might be the same case here. But just ask them.

It looks like a mold of an ocean kayak malibu two.

In my experience with Dave Holl, he will shoot you straight. Very nice guy! Just ask him how it paddles and he will tell you. Also, he may let you test paddle before you buy.

Here's a link to his website with the KI models.

http://www.kayakinstruct.com/kikayak.html

You can click on the sale/clearance kayaks link to see what models/colors he has in stock.

Yeah, the CL ad has KI pictured: Click

I'm not sure if it's an original design or a splash, but I sure as heck can't put my finger on it. Best to contact Dave at Kayak Instruct.

Found the kayak. It's manufactured by Ningbo Cool Kayak in China.

It's 12' 2" long, 33.9" wide, weighs 70.5 lbs, and has a capacity of 570-660 lbs (it varies on the website)

It looks like a stable, well thought out tandem kayak.

Good find Nuemie! All those designs look similar to other well-known yaks......but subtle differences.
