Looking for opinions... worth the money? I found some old posts on another site saying they went out of business at one point and had issues? (but not so sure it was a reliable report).
Looking for an accurate scale that locks in a weight without a ton of bouncing around.

Yes they are accurate and very reliable. Southwest Parts and Service carries them or you can order them at Tackle Warehouse which will be having a sale through Labor Day at 15% off.

Night and day... never guessing on ounces, and effecient. Once you got five it tells you what color to cull next and replaces the new weight with the push of a button. Nice carrying case which keeps it looking new. Hope this helps...

They are great scales if you weigh your fish on land. Ask some of the guides how they perform on the boat with wind.

Make sure to get the new clip on your unit its a million times better then the hook!! YOU can also get the old hook replaced with the new clip for those that have older units!

many of the Tour pros I fished with this year use them, like Shin Fukae.
they are unbelievably accurate, guides swear they read low, but everytime I get a heavy bag of apples or etc certified at grocery store it is within a few hundredths.
they seem to struggle a little more with 8+ pound fish and on a boat with wind. I have always got them to work though.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Best on the market. Hands down the most accurate scale. Watch the Live Blogs during BASS tournaments and look at how many people use them. Crochett, Short, MCCaghren, Klein, Reed, Chapman, etc.

Guess it depends on what you are needing it for. Just a scale? Tournaments? I say this because regardless of what your scale reads, the scale at weigh in will be different.

So for me that scale is worthless than.
