Took about 20 boats and about 40 people from our church youth group to San Marcos on Saturday for a little float trip. Beautiful cool water, great company, and got everyone down and back in one piece, it was a perfect day. Here is a photo of the kids and the trailer we built. We can put 16 tandem Hobies and three canoes on it and then another 5 single kayaks if we need them on the truck, it is quite a load!

See you on the lake and have a great day!

Should have also said if you plan to go in a kayak get on the water before about 9:00AM! We made one run in the morning that was peaceful and a lot of fun! We did a second afternoon run and by then it was a drunk/stoned tube rider slalom course. To be expected on a hot summer day but just FYI if you plan a trip.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

4th outing we have done with most of them this summer including a week long trip on the Buffalo with the older boys. It is work but it is worth it when you see good Christian kids making good choices and just having a ball together. With the exception of the occasional "hey stop killing each other" or "you can't just get out of the boat in a moving stream and let it go while you go swim the rapids" type stuff we have had no real problems! I love having the opportunity to serve God by serving his children!!!

See you on the lake and have a great day!
