 Awesome night on Lavon +new PB August 19,2014

Met bankfisher73 at the lake and got setup by 8 pm.At 8:30 Dave hauls in a 24#.The exact sequence of events after that are a little cloudy now but sometime later I hooked a monster Blue.We wrestled for several minutes before I could get him moving towards the bank. Dave waded out,tried to get behind him to help push him in but he came up,rolled and snapped my 60# leader.Then Dave brings in a 28# and as he is getting him up to the bank another rod gets pinned all the way over but before he can get to it the 30# mono mainline breaks.A little later I hook and manage to land,with Dave's help,my New PB 50# Blue!Then a crazy thing happened.Dave has another rod go down,he gets a hookup but gets hung on something.Then gets it loose and he starts bringing him in.The fish makes a run for it and snaps Dave's Penn Prevail rod in half,breaks the line and gets away.That's three big fish lost and yeah it sucks!Dave got a 20# and I got a 14#before we packed it in.All fish caught on cut perch.Thanks Dave,it was a fun night and now I'm ready to go after that 60 pounder!  50#  28#
