When I'm at Lake Travis, the bigger gills tend to be deeper and lower than the smaller ones. But today, I was floating around on a private lake that is deep, lots of brush on the banks, structure to adhere to, but couldn't find the bigger gills and greenies.

So what am I missing here?

This fellow was the only greenie of any size.

Bigger ones could have been in shallower water staying on nest spawning. Just my two cents. 2cents Nice Green. cheers

Side Note: Been having problems all summer long finding the big ones. hide2 It has been hit and miss all throughout summer with a lot of misses. nuts

Nice fish. Fish deeper for the big ones.
