Greg Hackney and Todd Faircloth are on track to catch over eighty pounds at Cayuga Lake. The winning weight at Toledo Bend in May was just over seventy nine pounds. Not bad for a lake that was completely frozen over six months ago.

What do you think Texas? There are obviously more giants in Toledo Bend, but Cayuga Lake is producing some quality fish.

Good luck to them both. I am pulling for the Hack Attack.

I'll say this, there are a LOT less fishermen up there and thus a lot less pressure. There are some tremendous unmolested populations.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

That lake is tiny compared to Toledo bend no suprise a couple pros found a way to catch 20lbs a day. Looks like a good lake for sure. But look at big bass 6lbs or so. That's chump change at Toledo Rayburn or any Texas tournament

I don't think black bass are the preferred fish in New York. They likes them Musky ,pike and all them toothy fish.

Toledo in late Feb to early April would have taken a 100lbs to win. They might have went at the worst time of the year and still caught them

Yeaaa . . .there's really no comparison. That lake is undoubtedly AMAZING for where it is, but it would be average in Texas. It can't hold a candle to Toledo. That's just ridiculous.
