Bob,

A couple of things.

Oklahoma Wildlife Department planted BPs in many lakes.
Website with locations: http://129.15.97.26/attractors/

Oklahoma residents over 65 do not need a fishing license to fish in Texas. (Same applies to senior Texas residents fishing in Oklahoma.)

I have a place on Eufaula and fish their frequently. I talked to you before you went to Eufaula a couple of years ago. I believe you tried to move a submerged road bed with your lower unit on that trip. If you want to fish Ray Roberts or Eufaula sometime, give me a shout. Even though you're an OU guy and Im an Oklahoma State guy, we might be able to tolerate each other.

Good luck,

Herb

If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life,
there'd be a shortage of fishing poles

Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind remarks and well wishes!!!!
I'll be back on the forum as soon as I can get settled up north and have a chance to test the waters up there for some slabs.
Thankfully, we still have the forum to stay in touch!!!

Dang I lived in Ardmore for about 6 to 8 months way back when. I went to American Flyers for flying school. Almost finished, but my first wife and I had some issues and I just didn't. I only had one more week of ground school and some more hours flying and test for my commercial licenses. I did so love the flying part too!

Know you will enjoy the new place an all and hope the fishing is great. I do know there are some beautiful water around there!

I don't know about the agreement Texas has with Oklahoma, but the agreement with Louisana says that you must be 65 yrs and have a license for your home state to fish the other state with out buying their license.
