Yep, fishin everyday. Northern New Mexico average temps 45 in the morning to about 75 mid day.

Dallas Morning News:
It was 30 years ago this week that a 42-day string of 100 degree days - the longest heat wave by far in the region's history - was broken. For one day. More triple digits followed, and when autumn mercifully arrived, temperatures had hit the century mark 69 times.
42 days at/above 100 degrees
5 days at/above 110 degrees
and on June 26-27 113 degrees ea day
And I was working for a beer company delivering beer, they gave us a little ice chest and a couple of rags to try to stay cool

Yes sir, remember that unfortunately but, I wasn't fishing then (thank God). I sure hope/PRAY we have a VERY wet fall coming ..... doesn't look like it but I am sure praying we do

It's only hot when the fish aren't biting! When they are biting, it takes my mind off the heat. I tend not to notice it that much.

Lee got this of the duck hiding from the sun in the shade of a lilly pad. Now that is hot right there.

This year hasn't been any worse than the last 37 summers I have seen.
One difference I will say is that we have had a little breeze/wind it seems all summer.

And we are older! Every really hot day someone says " man I don't remember it being this hot last year".
